Insights, Creating Cohesive Workplace

Why play around with team building when we have serious matters to focus on? Effective teams are not created overnight, and they take a great deal of effort on the part of all those concerned. There are many opinions as to what constitutes an effective team - a clear sense of purpose, a balanced mix of personalities, clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, trust, etc.

This half or full day customizable workshop is aimed at providing the foundation of understanding ourselves and others. This is done in a safe, professionally facilitated meeting in which strengths, differences, communication strategies and conflict can be addressed. Team members leave the workshop with a personal profile, workbook and learning aids, and the sense that they've participated in a "different" kind of conversation...a better conversation; one that has connected them to their work and their team in a productive way.

Retirement

Typically, when people think about retirement, their first thought is about money. While sufficient financial resources are important, money is only one part of the equation for a happy and productive life after people stop working. This workshop will explore beyond the dollars and cents and consider the psychological and daily living changes that retirement brings.
