The Body Fat Percentage appraisal is a 30-minute session that uses the Jackson & Pollock, 7 site skin fold test and the CPAFLA, 5 site skin fold measurements to assess your percentage body fat and amount of fat free mass. In presenting the results, our Certified Fitness Consultant will discuss the implications and explain the validity of both tests. More information/registration
The human body must be aligned and balanced in order to function well. Poor posture can lead to injury, chronic back pain and add years to one's appearance. The Posture Assessment is a 45-minute session with a Personal Fitness Trainer, designed to appraise individual posture in a variety of positions, with the aid of photographic images. Recommendations will be made to improve posture, offset injury and to balance your exercise regime. More information/registration
Proper nutrition is an important part of every exercise program, whether you are a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who is trying stay ahead of Father Time.
This 1 hour session with a professional nutritionist will allow you to find out what is FUELING you. We will look at your current nutritional practices and combine them with your fitness goals to develop a plan specific to you. More information/registration
The youth personal fitness training program is designed to allow children of 16 years or younger to workout at the fitness centre under parental supervision. This package consists of 3 x 1 Hour sessions of one on one personal training with the youth and their parent or guardian, and is designed to train the parent on how to best train the teenager and safely supervise their workouts in the fitness centre.
Please note the minimum age for youth personal training is 14 years of age. There are no exceptions.
This 4 Hour, one on one training program will assist in preparing for the PARE test which is for law enforcement. The PET test is for emergency response services.
Our Personal training program has expanded to include one-on-one, partner, and small or large group training options. By training in a small group of 2 to 6 people, you experience the variety, constant supervision and support associated with Personal Training along with the added benefit of social interaction. Your trainer will meet with you for a one-on-one prior to group personal training so we can help you reach your personal goals. That way, the consistency of group training will be an excellent strategy to keep you focused on making your work out time effective.
