Open Recreation

Campus Recreation members must present proof of membership before accessing the facilities. The Aquatic Centre, Gymnasiums, Gymnastics Centre and Outdoor Centre climbing walls require you to obtain a wristband before using the facilities. A wristband can be obtained from the Equipment Room (KNA 104) by presenting them with your student I.D. card. The Fitness Centre, Racquet Centre and the Olympic Oval require you to present your U of C ID card before entering those facilities.

Open Recreation
All current registered students become All Access members of Campus Recreation through full payment of tuition. Students may also purchase family memberships at special student rates at the Client Services Office (KNA 104). These memberships include access to a wide range of facilities.

Employment
As part of the University of Calgary Health & Recreation Centre, Campus Recreation is one of the largest student employers on Campus. Employment opportunities are available year round, please watch for postings. We also provide practicum and volunteer opportunities that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Equipment Rentals
Basketballs, volleyballs, and badminton nets are available from the Equipment Room (Campus Recreation KNA 104). An Active & Valid U of C ID card is required to borrow equipment. All borrowed equipment must remain on campus.

Programs
The University of Calgary Health & Recreation Centre has an extensive range of programs targeted at the student population. Activities include traditional intramural sport activities, learn to programs, certifications and an extensive outdoor adventure program. The Community
Memberships are available to alumni, staff and faculty at a discounted rate. Memberships are also available to the general public. All University of Calgary Health & Recreation Centre programs are open to both the members and non-members.
