Maps & Parking

The University of Calgary is located just off 24th /32nd Ave NW, between Crowchild Tr. (Brentwood Mall) and Shaganappi Tr. (Market Mall). You may enter the University campus from both 24th and 32nd Ave.

The Campus Recreation / Kinesiology Client Services (KNA 104) are located in the Kinesiology building, on the west side of campus.

Visitor Parking
If you are entering campus on the north side, parking is available10,11 and 12. There are also meter lots (9, 16) on the north side of the Olympic Oval. If you are coming from the south, lot 3 would be the closest for both drop-off and parking. Lot 3 has meter parking as well as evening/weekend parking. The Arts Parkade, south of the Kinesiology Complex, has evening and weekend parking as well. Morning and evening annual parking passes (for general public and Alumni annual members only) are available. Inquire at the Kinesiology Client Services main office.

Meters
Meters are available for short term parking needs at a variety of locations on Campus.

Paylots
Mon to Fri daytime hours. There are 4 paylots available these are lots 10, 11, 22, and 32. All paylots operate on a per entry basis.

Parkades
There are two Parkades available for Public Parking, MacEwan Students' Centre and The Art Parkade.
- MacEwan Students' Centre Parkade is a 140 stall underground facility in the Centre of Campus.
- The Art Parkade is a 5 story structure with 1260 stalls.
- MacEwan Student Centre is an underground parking structure.

Carpooling
The University of Calgary encourages the use of carpools. In Lot 10, 11 or 32, vehicles with 3 or more persons can gain entry into the lot for for a discounted price. Booklets can be purchased at the parking kiosk, main Parking Office or the Campus Ticket Centre.

Motorcycles
Motorcycles may be parked free in designated areas. Motorcycles parked in pay lots, parkades, or at meters are subject to the posted parking fees. Bicycles can make use of either the free racks or the coin operated self- locking racks (where available). They must not be left on landscaped areas or taken into buildings. Bicycles may not be chained to trees, shrubbery, lamp standards, etc. Cyclists, please use caution when riding on walkways and allow pedestrians the right of way
