Winter 2012 Intramurals Leagues

Basketball

Intramural Sports offers basketball players a wide selection of leagues to choose from. Play in men's, women's and mixed competitive leagues. All leagues are tiered to allow you to select the type of competition you want. Basketball leagues are offered in the fall, winter and summer semesters. In the fall and winter players can participate in men's, women's and mixed leagues. Players can play in two leagues, for instance men's and mixed, but can only play in one division.

Intramural Sports provides a competitive mixed and men's soccer league for those players looking for a more challenging game. Mixed teams are required to have at least 2 players of opposite gender for on the court at all times.

Ice Hockey

Intramural Sports off ers a competitive noncontact hockey league for the Fall semester. The league is tiered A, B, C, with ‘A' league being the most competitive, ‘B' league for intermediate, and ‘C' for beginner players. No slap shots in C. Players are only allowed to play on one team per division (A, B, C) and can only participate in a maximum of two divisions. Players cannot change division after registration deadline. Players are only allowed to play in adjacent divisions (for example; A, B or B, C) a player cannot play in the ‘A' league and also in the ‘C' league. All players must wear a CSA-approved helmet with full cage. Individual goaltenders are to register in the goaltender codes. All teams must declare their playing level (A, B, C) at time of registration.

Competitive leagues are designed for players with experience in the sport of volleyball. Divisions are tiered so that games are competitive for all.
