World Class Facilities

Whether you are part of our on-campus or off-campus community, you can re-energize, create and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle with access to our world class facilities. Our facilities are located in the Faculty of Kinesiology and are open to students, U of C staff,

alumni, and the general public. In order to access the facilities, you must be either a member or purchase an admission pass.

The Kinesiology Building Hours are:

Monday to Friday: 06:00am - 11:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 08:00am - 09:00pm

Holiday Hours:

Monday February 15: Family Day: 10:00am - 06:00pm
Friday April 2: Good Friday: Building Closed

*Note all facilities (fitness centre etc) close half an hour before the building is closed.

Fitness Centre

The 10,500 square foot Fitness Centre weight training & cardiovascular area offers the latest equipment found at a Canadian university.

Racquet Centre

The Racquet Centre has 13 international Squash courts, 4 international Racquetball courts, 4 seasonal outdoor Tennis courts, and as many as 10 open recreation Badminton courts. We are the largest court facility in the city!

Olympic Oval

Home to the world's fastest ice. The Olympic Oval features a 400m ice skating track & 450m indoor running track. From child to adult Skating Programs available.

Aquatic Centre

You're never too young or too old to learn a new trick. The Aquatic Centre offers a variety of open recreation activities, fitness programs, swimming lessons and certification courses for infants to adults. Click here for job opportunities with our team!

Outdoor Centre

The Outdoor Centre features a 40 foot climbing wall. Your one stop destination for any outdoor activity. Over 10,000 rental items available. Outdoor courses and programs.

Gymnastics Centre

The Gymnastic Centre features a variety of Olympic standard equipment, including spring gymnastics floor, trampoline, foam pits, bars,
rings, beams and vaults.
