ActiveAte!

YOUR NEW LIFE IS WAITING!

There is so much information on diet and exercise in the media these days that it’s hard to know what information is correct.

activeate_heroActiveAte is a new, free program that may be coming to your child’s school with the simple mandate of educating kids (and parents) about making healthy life-style choices and helping them to find activities that they enjoy which will keep them active. The program runs after school, for four weeks and features time for education and fun activity.

Being healthy is about much more than achieving a certain body weight. That’s why we are offering ActiveAte to any interested kids and parents, regardless of their size and shape! We promise that your kids – and you if you’re interested – will come away with some easy, practical ways to get your family more active and on a healthy path.

ActiveAte is being offered by experts from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Kinesiology. There is no charge, just an expectation that the school and parents will support the children as they move toward a healthy life-style.

Besides education and activity we believe this program will improve kids’ self-esteem, help them to feel better about themselves, give them the confidence to participate in sports and physical activity and show them how easy it is and fun it is to become more active, more healthy and more fit.
